Blight: Survival Cross-Play

At GDC 2026, Behaviour Interactive stated that Blight: Survival will have cross-play at launch between all platforms. For a 1–4 player co-op horror game, that sentence matters more than most trailer seconds.
What “all platforms” means today
Public platform targets remain PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S (Platforms & Release). Cross-play at launch means the design assumes mixed parties from day one — not a post-launch promise tacked on years later.
Why the team cares
On-camera comments stress that people want to play together and that the game is built for solo, duos, or full fours without changing the brutal tone. Cross-play is infrastructure for that social promise (Co-op, Campaign Structure).
Playtest reality check
Closed and early open playtests can still be platform-siloed while netcode and account links mature. Never promise a PS5 friend a Steam lobby until the wave email says cross-play is live (Playtest, Playtest Checklist).
Account and storefront prep
Keep Steam, console, and Behaviour Playtest Squad identities organized. Phishing “cross-play keys” are fake — there is no retail key economy yet (Community Links).

Input and party expectations
Until patch notes spell out parity, assume mouse/keyboard and controllers can share lobbies at launch while playtests may restrict combinations. Practice callouts that work without seeing each other’s UI layouts (Controls).
Regional and storefront myths
Cross-play does not mean every DLC skin automatically unlocks on every storefront. Keep receipts and avoid gray-market universal keys. Wishlist on Steam remains the main PC signal (Wishlist Milestone).
